A High Level Group, chaired by Mr. Batt O'Keeffe T. D., Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation, has been established to implement the recommendations of the Report. The Report of the Taskforce is an important element of the Government's Plan for dealing with the challenges facing the Irish economy in a changed world, contained in the Building Ireland's Smart Economy document. The 'Smart Economy' document sets out some key recommendations and steps to allow Ireland to be transformed into a Global Innovation Hub.
